ESO Styles: Where to Find Motifs

Styles are the appearance or look of the Weapons and Armor you are wearing in Elder Scrolls Online. Every Weapon and Armor has a Style and that defines how it will appear. It is purely cosmetic. Gear drops in all different Styles and you can craft Weapons and Armor in various styles.

In order for you to craft a Weapon or Armor in a certain Style you must find or purchase the matching Motif for that Style and read it and have one of the stones needed to make a piece of that type. Motifs are scattered in various containers through out Tamriel and it is more difficult to find some Motifs than others. There are currently far more Styles than Motifs, so it is not possible to craft all the Styles in the game. Below is a list of all the Styles with a couple of pieces of each so you can see what they look like (some Styles only have a couple pieces currently).

Crafting Motif 32: Abah’s Watch	Polished Shilling	Location: These chapters can be found in the Large Laundered Shipment boxes obtained by completing the Thieves Guild Tip Board quests at the highest tier of rewards.

Crafting Motif 34: Assassins League	Tainted Blood	Location: These chapters can be found from world bosses and delve bosses in the Gold Coast.
Crafting Motif 35: Dro-m’Athra	Defiled Whiskers	Location: Chapters can be found by completing the weekly quest to clear the Maw of Lorkhaj.
Crafting Motif 36: Dark Brotherhood	Black Beeswax	Location: These chapters can be found by completing Sacraments for the Dark Brotherhood.
Crafting Motif 37: Ebony	Night Pumice	Location: Sold by Rolis Hlallu, the Luxury Furnisher for 300 Writ Vouchers or in individual pages.

Crafting Motif 63: Dremora	Warrior’s Heart Ashes	Location: Chapters ccan be found by obtaining Dremora Plunder Skulls during the Witches Festival.
